Simplifies Migration of Legacy Archives to Modern Platform

SAN DIEGO, CA - Solimar Systems, Inc., a leading global provider of production printing and secure document delivery solutions, today announced the release of SOLsearcher™ Enterprise (SSE) version 3.6, a powerful web presentment solution that enables organizations to effectively index, store, search, retrieve, and deliver large collections of transactional documents. SSE 3.6 complements existing print processes and enables users to securely receive personalized content such as financial statements, insurance policies and invoices electronically through email, mobile delivery and the Web.

SSE 3.6 includes expanded workflow integration and file management, extends system security, and enhances document indexing processes. New features include:

Index Data Importer Tool - a tool that adds XML data to files to enable external index mapping to streamline the migration of legacy or "homegrown" archive files to SOLsearcher Enterprise.
Hierarchical Storage Management (HSM) - a data storage mechanism which automatically moves data from high-cost to low-cost storage media based on retention period criteria.
Integrated Tracking - SSE processing activity can now be tracked using SOLitrack™, the database-driven output management product from Solimar Systems, to provide tighter integration of SSE into overall production activity tracking.
Task Scheduling - enables users to control and prioritize when activities occur to maximize system processing, such as running document indexing during non-peak document retrieval periods.
Augment Document Archive - users can modify existing document indexing templates to adapt to changing document layouts.
Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) Encryption - SSE 3.6 supports FIPS 140-2 encryption, a U.S. Government computer security standard.
Indexing Enhancements - users can move and reposition existing indexes without having to recreate index field definitions, select images such as logos as index qualifiers, and associate table data such as a list of transactions with a file's metadata for indexing purposes.
