GSB Digital Expands to Accommodate New Equipment & Higher Capacity

Press release from the issuing company

GSB Digital has recently relocated its sales and administration team to join production at a new headquarters in Long Island City, New York.  This move was made to accommodate the growth of the company as they continue to expand their services and bring in new equipment. Now residing in the L.I.C. Business Center I, the organization is located at 30-30 47th Avenue, Long Island City, New York. GSB Digital has also retained their presence in Manhattan, at 51 Madison Avenue, for clients requesting litigation and reprographic services. This Client Service Center, located just one floor below their prior location, is now on the sub-concourse level of the New York Life Building. This location will continue to provide client assistance for walk in, litigation, and reprographic services including delivery options and space for reviewing proofs and samples.

In 2012, due to a steady increase in print volume, fulfillment, and storage space demands, the necessity for additional space became apparent. GSB Digital knew that a larger space would provide a greater opportunity for superior technology, improved workflow, and efficiency. The organization implemented a careful search to find a convenient location that would meet the needs of both the day-to-day production as well as the client focused sales team.  Just across the river, Long Island City’s larger spaces and proximity to Manhattan made it the ideal choice for GSB Digital’s growing business. “Searching for the right real estate space was a tricky, but definitely rewarding endeavor,” says owner, Stephan Steiner. “The most exciting aspect of this expansion is having the physical space that our organization has desired for so many years.  The progressive equipment we can now invest in will continue to build upon the GSB reputation of being cutting edge and continually innovative,” says Steiner.

The L.I.C. Business Center’s Museum of Modern Art influenced displays, oversized hallways, and hip elevator creates a fun, and inviting atmosphere at the new headquarters. Engaging design firm RPF NYC, GSB Digital continues with this modern theme echoing a contemporary look throughout the new 20,000 sq. ft space.  Select rooms are highlighted with floor to ceiling wall graphics of iconic New York locations and pops of GSB Digital’s corporate orange bring a cohesive look from door to door.  Other features at the new facility include new equipment. The HP Indigo 7600 press, the HP Scitex FB700 industrial flatbed printer, and Zünd G3 digital cutter are additions that provide differentiation to GSB Digital’s clients.  A plexi glass enclosed pressroom gives an inside look to these workhorses of the printing process. Additionally, confortable conference rooms provide a space for reviewing proofs, jobs, and samples of previous printed work. Tours of the new facility are encouraged
