Enviro Image Solutions "Surprise Hit" of Ipex Tradeshow

Press release from the issuing company

The innovative Enviro Image Solution (EIS) Blanket Renewal Program was hailed as the “surprise hit” of the  International Printing Equipment Exhibition (Ipex) in London last week, by Print Week, the tradeshow’s media sponsor and established print magazine.

Not only did EIS impress media at Ipex, but printers from dozens of countries were fascinated by the possibility of renewing their blankets and seeing thousands of dollars in savings each year. Print is now a global economy, so printers have realized that they aren’t simply competing at home countries but also going toe-to-toe internationally. And every printer at Ipex was eager to gain a competitive advantage.

“We came to the UK continue to build our UK market, after initial successes in working with Chesapeake,” said Dan McDonald, Director of R&D. “But we were pleasantly surprised by the excitement many other countries have shown in adopting our new technology.” The Blanket Renewal Program is already cutting thousands of dollars from printers’ budget annually, saving thousands of tons of blankets from landfills, and is now becoming a truly global solution for consumable waste.  This was the logical next step in changing the misperception that blankets are a one-time use item, and educating the world that EIS has transformed them into multi-use assets.
