The Mosaica Group Expands Its Footprint with New Distribution Facility in Minneapolis

Press release from the issuing company

New location will offer broader access to expert printing solutions and service

Sussex, Wis. – The Mosaica Group, a leading distributor of graphic arts equipment, software and supplies servicing companies throughout the Midwest, today announced the opening of a new distribution facility in Minneapolis, to occur in early summer 2014.

Clients in the Twin Cities area will now have more efficient, direct access to Mosaica’s entire suite of capabilities – including its growing Achieva™ line of wide-format technology, media and inks – as well as operational expertise and service support.

The facility, located at 7150 Boone Ave. North in Brooklyn Park, has a robust stock of in-demand products, decreasing freight costs for customers and even allowing them to pick up selected products in person. Additionally, the facility will feature an advanced Technology Center in which to showcase demonstration equipment and materials.

Along with the new facility, Mosaica has committed to a strategic alignment of resources in the Minneapolis market and will sell and distribute a wide variety of high-quality inks – including sheetfed, heatset, flexo and digital inks – while also providing ink blending and lab services.

“Our new Minneapolis facility is the latest realization of a strategic initiative to diversify our geographic reach,” said Mosaica Group President and CEO Randy Peters. “We’re looking forward to working with clients in the Twin Cities metro area to expand their access to our wide breadth of knowledge, experience and technology solutions.”

Printing clients in the region are looking forward to having Mosaica’s technology solutions and expertise close at hand. “The Meyers Printing Companies has long enjoyed a mutually beneficial partnership with The Mosaica Group. Their innovative approach toward prepress and pressroom technology solutions has consistently resulted in cost savings, quality enhancements and shorter lead times for our customers,” said Fred Silloway, President. “With the opening of Mosaica’s new Minneapolis distribution center, it’s a sign of their continuing commitment to offer the highest value in an extremely competitive marketplace. Congratulations to Randy and his team.”

An open house at the new facility will take place later this year, featuring demonstrations of wide-format printers, cutters, software and ink. For more information, visit www.printmosaica.com.
