Press release from the issuing company

Strong, robust fully-automatic industrial machine with an affordable price

The MK1050E die cutting and stripping machine from Masterwork USA, a leading manufacturer of folding carton and packaging equipment headquartered in Charlotte, NC, is proving popular as an entry-level system for small print shop owners that require a high-quality, robust workhorse for their finishing needs with an affordable price tag.

“The MK1050 die cutting machine with stripping is an economical model with an automatic platen that provides users with a competitive capability at an entry-level price,” says Carol Jiang, vice president of Masterwork USA. “It is one of our finest automatic industrial die cutting machines, featuring maximum feeding speeds of over 125 sheets per minute. Our engineers did not skimp on quality. This machine is strong and robust. It brings value to any print shop operation. There is no other machine like it.”

The MK 1050 is equipped with features to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality. Its nonstop feeding operations due to the automatic change-over between the main feeding pile and the auxiliary pile easily increase efficiency and timing on the MK1050E and achieve nonstop feeding operation.  Its four powerful lifting suction cups and five carrier suction cups made from lightweight aluminum alloy allow operators to easily adjust the machine to accommodate different sheet conditions and formations for thick or thin cardboard. Additionally, the MK1050E comes equipped with a treble protector for the feeder head and micro adjustment on the sheet feeding pile. Furthermore, this industrial die cutting machine features Masterwork’s renowned vacuum pump for the feeder. Its adjustable suction cups are made of lightweight aluminum alloy with anode treatment on the surface.  A mechanical and electrical double sheet detect system is positioned at the side and front register providing quality control.

“Customers are delighted to find that the Masterwork MK1050 provides them with a competitive capability at an entry level price,” says Jiang. “We’ve seen how it can transform their business from manual and semi-automatic to a successful, profitable fully automatic post-print finishing business.”
