The President’s and Chairman’s Award Presented at Xploration® 14

Lutz, FL - Xplor International, the worldwide electronic document systems association, today named the recipients of the President’s Award and the Chairman’s Award. The two Xplor awards recognize contributions to the association and the industry in general. Both awards were presented at Xplor’s Annual Conference and Vendor Forum during the award ceremony and luncheon, Wednesday, March 26, 2014. 

The President’s award is presented to an individual or organization that, in the opinion of the association’s president stood out, in some way, over the last year. 

This year’s President’s award is presented to both Lloyds Banking Group and Symcor. “I would like to thank Lloyds and Symcor, who despite the economy, mergers, and distractions in today’s business environment, had the vision to understand the importance of investing in their employees” says Skip Henk, EDP, President & CEO of Xplor International. “These two companies collectively have put 218 individuals through the 5-day Transaction Document Specialist School and additionally all have earned their Electronic Document Associate (EDA) designation.”

The Chairman’s award is presented to an individual or organization that, in the opinion of the association’s chairman stood out, in some way, over the last year. 

This year’s Chairman’s award is presented to Ryerson University. Recently, Ryerson University has become the first college chapter of Xplor International now known at Xplor Canada, Ryerson Chapter. “I am very proud of the efforts that Ryerson has put in over the last year to start the Xplor Canada, Ryerson Chapter” says Randy Hardy, Association Board of Directors Chairman. “I believe that Ryerson has paved the way to a bright future for rising stars in our industry and hope that this is the first of many university chapters!”
