Color-Logic Metallic Substrate Swatchbooks and Color Charts

Press release from the issuing company

West Chester, OH - Swatchbooks and color charts showing the Color-Logic Process Metallic Color System on metallic substrates are available from many certified Color-Logic printers.  These swatchbooks and color charts enable graphic designers and brand managers to quickly and positively specify the exact special effect they desire when using metallic substrates for packaging applications.  No other metallic color system is commercially available for metallic substrates and foils.  Color-Logic provides a clear and reliable path of color communication from concept to finished product, eliminating trial and error press runs when using metallic substrates and foils in flexible packaging, labels and folding cartons.

Discussing the metallic substrate swatchbooks and color charts, Color-Logic Chief Technology Officer Richard Ainge said: "Color-Logic is the only metallic color system providing graphic designers and brand managers with a reproducible demonstration of how colors render on metallic and other specialty substrates such as foils, holograms and pearlescents.  To become certified, each Color-Logic printer must print the Color-Logic test form and submit the results to Color-Logic.  Submitted test forms are reviewed by Color-Logic experts for sheet-to-sheet consistency, since process control is a key requirement of Color-Logic certification.  Many of these printers are taking advantage of the many metallic substrates available, and make these certification swatchbook and color chart materials available to graphic designers and brand managers, who can use them to reliably predict the result on the press.  A complete list of certified and licensed Color-Logic printers around the world is available at www.color-logic.com."
