Crawford Technologies Releases New IJPDS Transforms

Press release from the issuing company

CrawfordTech team continues to meet customer needs through expanding portfolio

Toronto, ON – Crawford Technologies has released today its new Ink Jet Print Data Stream (IJPDS) transforms, allowing organizations to print many different print file formats on their IJPDS printers. IJPDS is a print format developed by Kodak for their high-volume inkjet printers.

Very few applications are capable of creating IJPDS print files, severely limiting the work that organizations can put on their IJPDS printers. The new transforms allow formats such as AFP, PDF, PostScript, PCL, Xerox Metacode and others to be converted into IJPDS for printing on these devices.

"These transforms let our customers expand the range of applications they can print on their IJPDS printers, increasing the return on the investments they have made," said Ernie Crawford, President of Crawford Technologies. “This can boost their revenue and profit margins significantly, and extend the life of their hardware."

CrawfordTech will be demonstrating and discussing the IJPDS family of products at the Xplor International's Xploration 14 March 25 to 27, 2014 in Orlando, Florida, and the InkJet Summit April 7 to 9, 2014 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
