Chinese Postal Printer Introduces ROLAND 700 HiPrint

Press release from the issuing company

National Post Office printing company Sichuan Post & Telecommunication Printing uses Manroland to develop more competitive products.

Sichuan Post & Telecommunication Printing has introduced the high-performance four-color ROLAND 700 HiPrint to enhance its position in the postal stationery and hardcover book markets and also become the first Chinese postal printing company to invest in an Inline Coating Unit.

Much of the company’s comprehensive range of stationery required added gloss and off-line coating and had been presenting problems in terms of efficiency, yield and cost.

General Manager Yang Dengbo, said: "After a thorough and detailed comparison of the various options available to us, we decided to introduce a new four-color ROLAND 700 HiPrint with coating unit. This will further enhance print quality, improve pass rate, expand the company strengths in tourism and travel tickets and high-class book printing, and enable us to cater to high-end printing.”

With a proud 50-year history, Sichuan Post & Telecommunication Printing Co is the only established postal stationery production enterprise in Southwest China to be officially designated by the National Post Office. It has around 300 employees and an annual output value of over RM100 million.
