Flex-RPM: The Award-Winning Communication Platform that enables Real-time Production Management

Stevens Point, WI – WORZALLA today announced an agreement with SoftSolutions to install the Flex Real-time Production Management platform across WORZALLA’s Stevens Point, Wisconsin production facility.

Flex by SoftSolutions is an award winning “intelligent shop floor system” that supports the Real-time Production Management needs of the entire manufacturing operation, from the shop floor to the top floor.

This Flex-RPM system equips and enables existing personnel to be more effective by:

Making opportunities for improvement visible in real-time
Quickly and accurately identifying high margin versus low margin jobs
Providing intelligent Production Alerts to prioritize scarce resources

“By employing Flex-RPM, WORZALLA aims to integrate shop floor automation tools into our ERP system, driving real-time improvements in production efficiencies across our platform,” stated Jim Fetherston, President of WORZALLA. “Our goal is best-in-class performance which we believe will allow us to produce great books for another 122 years.”

Bill Varga, second shift lead supervisor in WORZALLA’s Finishing Department stated, “Flex allows me to monitor equipment for areas of concern, such as breakdowns or falling behind schedule, and take action quickly to keep production flowing efficiently. Being able to track production efficiencies gives a great overall longer term view of production to better focus on repeated problem areas.”
