DirectSmile Launches its First Cloud-based Cross Media Solution, Print&Web

Press release from the issuing company

Innovative entry-level cross media solution for the Americas to be introduced at Dscoop9 conference

Berlin/Orlando – DirectSmile will launch its first cloud-based solution for multi-channel marketing at this year´s Dscoop9 conference. Exclusive to the Americas, the new product, Print&Web, was designed for the needs of print service providers (PSPs) who wish to cost effectively start their own marketing services business. Print&Web will help PSPs to offer marketing services with little initial investment and develop their marketing business step-by-step.

One solution for VDP, web and image personalization

Print&Web enables the design of variable print pieces in the browser, as well as the creation of interactive websites for tasks such as surveys, competitions or customer feedback. An easy-to-use system, users will be able to create web pages without any HTML skills. In addition, they can easily generate QR codes and personal URLs to connect print and web.

Image personalization for print and web is also part of the package and users can choose from 1200 ready-made motifs from DirectSmile’s huge image library. The ability to personalize campaigns in this way has shown to dramatically increase response rates. Finally, the new service includes campaign tracking capabilities and analytics with customizable dashboards.

Making the move to a marketing service provider

The new service addresses the business needs of printers in multiple ways. Christoph Clermont, Head of Development at DirectSmile says:  “There is increasing demand for printers to become Marketing Service Providers but little help has been available to support the transition. With Print&Web, DirectSmile can bridge the gap with an easy-to-access solution that takes some of our best technologies to the cloud.”

Thanks to its SaaS (software as a service) model the new product offers users a cost-effective and risk free way to master the first steps in building multi-channel campaigns. It provides an all-in-one solution that does not require additional software or plug-ins while upgrades to increase functionality are always possible.

Starting from March 6, 2014, DirectSmile’s new cloud service will be available exclusively in the Americas. Complimentary to Print&Web DirectSmile continues to offer its server-based solutions for cross media marketing.
