CMA Imaging Launches Gracol 2013 Compliant Proofing Paper at GOA

Press release from the issuing company

Hagen, Luxembourg - Today CMA Imaging, a market leader in the integration of color management solutions for the printing industry, announced that it is launching a Gracol 2013 compliant proofing paper at the Grahips ofAmerica show in Miami from 27thFebruary to 1st March 2014.

CMA Imaging reacted quickly to the changes announced by Idealliance to the Gracol 2006 standard by introducing a proofing media that is compliant with the new 2013 standard. One of the major changes to the standard is the white point that has been brought in line with the typical commercial print stock that is used in today’s printing industry. The change from Gracol 2006 (95:*, 0a*, -2b*) is the move to a more bluer white point with the introduction of Gracol 2013 (95, 1 –4).

Gerardo Cerros, Managing Director of CMA Imaging said, “I am delighted that CMA Imaging is one of the first media vendors to offer  Gracol 2013 media to the print proof market. As specialists of  color management solutions and inkjet media for the proofing industry, we are well aware of the impact a change to the white point can make to our customers. Therefore, we felt that it was imperative to have  quickly  media available that meet the Gracol 2013 standard.

The new 2013 Gracol  proofing media  is  CMA ProofPaper Semi-matte and is 210gsm. Further details can be found on the CMA Imaging web site
