A 10th ROLAND press for Croatia’s LANA

Press release from the issuing company

LANA, one of the biggest and most respected packaging printers in the Adriatic region, has purchased a new ROLAND 700 offset press.

With 9 Manroland machines installed, this latest purchase may have seemed like a foregone conclusion for LANA but it actually followed some rigorous and lengthy technical research involving all of the world’s major manufacturers.

LANA’s Managing Director Mr Ivan Turkalj said: “For every new investment we usually take 3 months for detailed and deep investigation into existing worldwide technology. We saw some very complex print samples, the same as we face on a daily basis. We decided that, once again, the investment was going to be with Manroland.”

Owner and CEO of LANA, Mr Nikola Hanzel added: “After visiting the Manroland factory and production line, we were fascinated with the level of organization, the number of machines and the quality control, which is totally unique worldwide.

“When we are comparing local Manroland support with others and comparing Manroland logistics with all, we were more than sure this was the right route for the future.”

These thoughts were echoed by the company’s Technical Director, Mr Gordan Boži?evi?: “When we are printing with Manroland presses 24 hours a day on very different thicknesses, with no ghosting, no doubling, no stopping or breaking, no printing problems at all, we can easily plan every production task.

“I am more than glad we just ordered new Manroland presses again. We believe they are the most reliable and long lasting presses worldwide.”
