Kodak Adds MCS Inc. as a New Authorized Reseller of KODAK DIGIMASTER HD Digital Production Platform in the U.S.

Company set to open new state-of-the-art demo center in the Chicago area 

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - MCS, Inc. has been serving the marketing and mailing industries across North America since 1989, manufacturing, selling, and supporting a full range of inkjet imaging systems and inserter matching systems. With more than 2000 systems already placed, MCS is now adding the family of KODAK DIGIMASTER HD Platformto its portfolio, and is opening a new National Product Demo Center in the Chicago area that will feature a KODAK DIGIMASTER HD150 Digital Production System.

“We develop many of our inkjet and matching systems in-house with our own team of engineers,” said Dave Loos, President and Owner of MCS, Inc. “Adding the KODAK DIGIMASTER HD Platform to our product portfolio will provide our customers with a leading, integrated toner-based solution for high-volume black-and-white production needs.”

Available in models featuring 125 ppm, 150 ppm, or 300 ppm, DIGIMASTER HD Digital Production Systems combine stunning print quality with flexible, extensible finishing options, powerful processing, and full rated speed printing across a wide range of substrates. Other highlights include maximum output through benchmark uptime and availability, virtually jamless paper handling, enhanced image quality using the new H1 toner, improved reliability and performance on pre-printed media, and higher toner yield from smaller particle sizes.

MCS will host an Open House at its new National Product Demo Center in the Chicagoland Area on February 26-28, 2014. Visitors will see a full range of solutions, including the DIGIMASTER HD150 Digital Production System.

How positively Disruptive! Looks like a most interesting experiment for Kodak. Can't imagine Kodak would have embraced this in a previous incarnation.
