NAPL Introduces Industry CEO-Level Coaching Through In-Person and Web-Based Program

Press release from the issuing company

CEO Roundtable features quarterly face-to-face meetings, plus one-to-one “virtual office hours” and Web-based updates, helping members to be the CEOs their companies need.

East Rutherford, N.J.The National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL) introduces the CEO Roundtable, a unique coaching service for graphic communications industry CEOs that is designed to help them maximize profits from their current business while transforming their companies for the future. The program is sponsored by Manroland Sheetfed.

The CEO Roundtable has been developed in partnership with Bob Rosen, Principal of R.H. Rosen Associates, whose consulting firm has advised the CEOs of more than 600 graphic arts companies. Rosen is also the author of the book, “The New Graphic Arts CEO: Getting Your Company Safely from Here to There.”

“Being a CEO is complex in any industry; being a CEO in today’s graphic communications industry is even more challenging, as CEOs have to make crucial decisions every day that will have a lasting impact on the —or even the survival—of their companies,” says Association President and Chief Executive Officer Joseph P. Truncale, Ph.D.

The CEO Roundtable is built around quarterly one-day face-to-face sessions in Chicago. The first session will be held March 20, with subsequent sessions scheduled for June, September, and December. Limited to a select number of CEOs, the Roundtable has been designed to help executives bring new ways of thinking to their most important managerial decisions. Sessions are built around proven ideas that the industry’s top-performing CEOs are putting to use, and will offer participants a suite of tools they can use immediately to take a clearer look at the choices they’re making for their companies.

“It is definitely not a time to go it alone,” Truncale continues. “Every industry CEO can benefit from the kind of training offered in this major new program from NAPL and Rosen Associates?with our unparalleled experience in helping industry CEOs address their most crucial issues. Taking just one day a quarter out of the office will help members sharpen their focus and clarify their options in addressing the issues confronting their companies.”

The face-to-face meetings will be presented by Rosen and Truncale, as well as NAPL Senior Vice President Mike Philie. Members can also take advantage of monthly Virtual Office Hours?an opportunity to have private phone conversations with Rosen to discuss their issues of special interest or concern. There will also be optional quarterly Web-based update sessions to help keep members focused and on-track between the Roundtable’s quarterly face-to-face meetings.

The program is the latest management offering from the consolidated Association of Marketing Service Providers (AMSP), National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL), and National Association of Quick Printers (NAQP).

“Here’s an exciting new way to get the help you need in finding a new path for your company,” says Rosen. “The CEO Roundtable will have a minimal impact on your schedule, but it will have a major impact on your effectiveness – by helping you to be the CEO your company needs.”

He continues: “After all, if you’re transforming your company, maybe it’s time for you to do a little transforming yourself.”
