Contract renewal extends relationship between Wyndeham and Hearst

Press release from the issuing company

LONDON - Wyndeham Group announces a further two-year printing contract renewal with consumer magazine publisher Hearst Magazines for Reveal and Men’s Health together with a range of supplements.

Reveal is produced at Wyndeham Peterborough and Men’s Health at Wyndeham Heron. Both titles have been printed by Wyndeham Group companies for over 10 years. The demand profile of these titles varies considerably and demonstrates Wyndeham’s diverse and flexible manufacturing resources. Reveal, which is a high-volume weekly, provides a challenging schedule which is met by utilising a combination of Peterborough’s high-speed presses and stitching lines. Men’s Health benefits from a combination of high-speed presses and large scale perfect binding facilities at Heron.

John Hughes, Production Director at Hearst Magazines UK, said: “Wyndeham is an important partner to Hearst Magazines and has consistently demonstrated its ability to deliver high quality products that are challenging in terms of schedule and quality. We are very pleased to have renewed our contract and look forward to further developing this over the coming years.”

Paul Utting, Chief Executive Officer at Wyndeham Group, added: “After successfully securing and renewing a number of long-term contracts during 2013 including Condé Nast, Financial Times, The Economist, John Brown, and Haymarket Media, I am delighted that we have renewed our contract with Hearst Magazines, confirming our position as the leading supplier of the highest quality magazines in the UK.”
