New 3M Scotchcal High Tack Graphic Film IJ39 Gives Graphics Manufacturers a Low-Surface Energy Solution

Press release from the issuing company

Film sticks to plastics and powder-coated paints

ST. PAUL, Minn. – 3M Commercial Graphics is making it easier to wrap hard-to-stick-to surfaces with the introduction of 3M™ Scotchcal™ High Tack Graphic Film IJ39. This new 3.5 mil vinyl film has a high tack, pressure-sensitive adhesive that helps graphics manufacturers meet the need for a film you can depend on to stick to challenging surfaces.

Film IJ39 is designed for solvent, UV, and latex-based inkjet printing, as well as screen printing where a quality film is needed for short-term promotional graphics. The film is available in 54-inch x 50-yard rolls, and comes with an expected performance life of five years. With applications ranging from motocross bikes, coolers, and powder-coated paints to low-surface energy plastics such as polyethylene and polypropylene, film IJ39 can expand wrapping opportunities and help increase business for graphics manufacturers and installers.
