Kodak set to promote award-winning packaging solutions at PACE

Press release from the issuing company

Outstanding quality and a commitment to the supply chain

EYSINS, SWITZERLAND – Kodak has announced that it will be attending this year’s annual Packaging and Converting Executive (PACE) Forum, to be held in Brussels, Belgium, from 12 - 14 February. In a series of one-to-one meetings with brand owners Kodak will be discussing the benefits of implementing Kodak Technology in the packaging supply chain, with a specific focus on the benefits that the innovative and award-winning KODAK FLEXCEL NX System brings to flexographic print production. The FLEXCEL NX System is Kodak’s flagship solution in its broad portfolio of Packaging Solutions and is enjoying rapid industry adoption.

In these highly competitive times brand owners can benefit from a fast growing global network of providers, equipped with leading-edge KODAK FLEXCEL NX Plate or System Technology, that can deliver gravure and offset-like print quality with the flexibility and cost effectiveness of flexo. Flexo printing has truly never looked so good or been capable of such consistency and predictability – excellent news for brand marketeers. A unique technical approach to digital flexo platemaking, the Kodak solution delivers high-contrast, vibrant print with colours that ‘pop’, while at the same time significantly reducing production variables and waste.

Grant Blewett, EAMER (Europe, Africa, Middle East and Russia) Strategic Accounts Manager, Packaging, Kodak said, “Events such as PACE provide an excellent opportunity for us to talk directly with brand owners, about the impact that our technology can have on product visual appearance, reducing production complexity and increasing overall return on marketing investment.

“We are confident in our technology and have gained significant experience in recent years supporting customers with countless new product launches and SKU conversions - the positive response has been overwhelming. Supporting the packaging supply chain with the implementation of this new technology is a high priority for us. Brand owners can be confident that we stand 100% behind their suppliers.”

The PACE Forum, which takes place annually, focuses on improving communication, and encouraging increased collaboration and business continuity by assisting the supply chain to better align its capabilities with the needs of the brand owner. The Forum combines visionary keynote presentations, master classes and one-to-one private business development meetings to seamlessly provide a unique, interactive experience for all those that attend.
