OAKVILLE, ON, Nov. 21 - Mail Boxes Etc., Canada's largest franchise network of business support service centres, announced today it has acquired the locations, assets and inventory of four former Henry Armstrong Digital Printing corporate stores. This brings the total number of MBE stores in Winnipeg to eight. "Expanding in the Winnipeg area is part of a national acceleration growth plan for our franchise. Our existing four centres in Winnipeg are doing well and there is a demand for more full-service business support centres in this market, especially for the small business sector, which is our primary customer. Henry Armstrong did a great job in building its brand and customer base, and through the acquisition, offers MBE ideal geographical locations to increase our Winnipeg presence," says Ralph Askar, president and chief executive officer of MBE. The former Henry Armstrong centres at Cityplace, Winnipeg Square and on Henderson Highway re-open this week offering the full slate of MBE services. The interior design and signage conversion will take place in January.
