Pitney Bowes Names Dan Novais Vice President of Latin America

STAMFORD, Conn. – Pitney Bowes Inc. today announced that Dan Novais has been named Vice President of Latin America. In this position, Novais will be responsible for business development and sales of Pitney Bowes’s software and technology solutions in the Latin American region, and will be based in São Paulo, Brazil. 

“Dan possesses a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the software and technology industries, as well as the overall Latin American region,” said Skip Yakopec, Senior Vice President of Sales, Americas, Pitney Bowes Software Solutions. “We are excited to have Dan join our team and look forward to his strong leadership in helping us grow our business in Latin America so we can continue to offer innovative solutions that can help our clients unlock further value in their businesses in the region and around the world.”
 
Before joining Pitney Bowes, Novais was the Vice President of Latin America Mobility Solution and Services for SAP in São Paulo, Brazil. His software and technology experience also includes working at Microsoft Corporation in Brazil where he held positions including Sales and Channels/Alliances Director for Latin America, and oversaw licensing for Microsoft’s Windows Mobile and Cloud division. In addition, Novais’ experience includes executive positions at EDS Electronic Data Systems, Telefonica Empresas S/A and Sprint Telecommunications.   
 
Novais holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Pace University, a Master’s degree on Business Administration from The George Washington University, and an International MBA degree from the University of Toronto.
