New Sales Workshop Program Feb. 11-12 in New Jersey

Press release from the issuing company

Mike Philie and Bill Farquharson lead two-day workshop that includes sessions for individual salespeople, sales managers, and ‘selling owners.’

East Rutherford, N.J. –  Just a week after the NFL’s two top teams compete for the Super Bowl at MetLife Stadium, sales teams from around the region will take part in a new sales workshop from the Business Advisory Group of the newly merged NAPL, AMSP, and NAQP association.

The two-day program will be held Feb. 11-12 at NAPL Headquarters in the Metropolitan Center directly across from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. Led by NAPL Senior Vice President Mike Philie and Vice President Bill Farquharson, the workshop will feature sessions for company executives, sales managers, ‘selling owners,’ and individual salespeople.

“This is a great way to energize your 2014 sales effort with minimal time out of the office and an extremely cost-effective investment,” says Farquharson. “Our emphasis will be on providing practical solutions to the tough challenges of sales leadership and selling traditional print, mailing and fulfillment services, and new digital-based offerings, and on managing the salespeople who are on the front line.”

“On the first day of the program, we’ll be dealing with the full spectrum of industry sales-related issues companies now face,” says Philie, “ranging from top-level concerns business owners and upper management need to consider when faced with replacing a legacy sales force to practical ideas sales managers can use to motivate and manage salespeople for greater success.”

The second day will comprise two half-day segments specifically for individual salespeople and ‘selling owners,’ and will cover real-world topics such as “the sales triathlon:” time management, using voicemail, overcoming objections (first 90-minute session); and selling digital services and variable-data printing (second 90-minute session). To facilitate one-on-one training by keeping groups small, the same two sessions will be presented both in the morning and afternoon.

Attendees may participate in the full program or choose an individual session. Pricing is as follows: Full program (full first day plus one-half of second day/two sessions) is $299 for NAPL, NAQP, and AMSP members; $399 for non-members. Full first day only: $199/$299; single session on the first day: $149/$199; full second day only: $129/$149; morning or afternoon on second day: $79/$99. All-day registrations include breakfast, lunch, and beverages; half-day sessions include either breakfast or lunch and beverages.
