Press release from the issuing company

Now accepting proposals for the industry’s premier event

Fairfax, Virginia - Submit your proposal now for the 2014 SGIA Expo (Las Vegas, October 22–24)! All SGIA members and SGIA Expo exhibitors — including printers, manufacturers, educators, distributors and industry consultants, as well as experts in sales and business management — are encouraged to submit a proposal. Gain visibility, share valuable knowledge and discuss best practices with the diverse specialty imaging community.

Sessions are selected for inclusion based on relevance/timeliness of the topic, educational value to the industry, and educational balance within the diverse specialty imaging industry. All proposals are considered, but only a limited number are accepted. Please note that all proposed educational sessions must be objective and non-commercial in nature, and should focus on increasing knowledge on a particular topic or technique, but not on a specific product or proprietary process.

Deadline for submissions is Friday, February 14, 2014.

Session proposal topics should fall within one or more of SGIA’s comprehensive educational tracks:

  • Graphics & Sign
  • Garment Decoration
  • Industrial Printing
  • Business Management

Presentations should be seminar-style, 60 minutes long, and can take the form of a lecture or panel discussion. Contact Dan Marx, SGIA’s vice president of markets and technologies with questions or to submit a proposal. Please include:

  • Session title and topic
  • One-paragraph description of session
  • Intended educational track (see above)
  • Full contact information for proposed presenter(s), including: Name, company, mailing address, phone number, email address and intended educational track.
