Graphics of the Americas Announces Doorway to Dusseldorf

Press release from the issuing company

November 20, 2003 – Graphics of the Americas Vice President and General Manager Chris Price today announces that exclusive Doorway to Dusseldorf (DtD) exhibitor technology previews will be available to attendees of Graphics of the Americas, scheduled for January 23 – 25 in Miami Beach, FL. Price says the DtD exhibition activity, with its focus on major spring 2004 technology and product announcements, serves as a perfect companion to the inaugural two-day strategic direction conference, TrendVision, that is being held in conjunction with Graphics of the Americas. TrendVision will take place January 22 and 23. “We have a responsibility to look ahead and provide GOA attendees with not only what they want to know, but what they need to know,” Price says. “Doorway to Dusseldorf and TrendVision are complementary exhibit and conference activities that will give our guests the benefit of seeing the world’s most important, coming technologies in the context of the most expert perspective on the future available.” Price says attendees will be guided to “Doorway to Dusseldorf” vendor participants with booth signage provided by Graphics of the Americas. Doorway to Dusseldorf Details Beta Industries of Carlstadt, NJ, which offers the industry a full line of densitometry and color quality control instruments and tools, is just one of the vendors participating in Doorway to Dusseldorf. DtD activities will include booth demonstrations and private previews of hardware and software solutions planned for spring 2004 launch in Dusseldorf. Larry Goldberg, Director of Engineering at Beta, feels strongly not only about Doorway to Dusseldorf, but also about Graphics of the Americas’ overall, unique power as compared to other tradeshows.   "This year at GOA we will definitely have products to showcase under the Doorway to Dusseldorf banner,” Goldberg says.  “GOA is the perfect place for us to do this because it is where we get more bang for the buck, especially with the added value of Doorway to Dusseldorf and TrendVision.  We get more exposure to the international audience here than at any other venue.   "This is our 25th year at GOA. It brings exhibitors back every year because they get a tangible return, and pay reasonable amounts to be there. We've dropped shows that don't produce, but the bottom line is that GOA consistently performs for us."   TrendVision Perspective Conceived by Frank Romano, world-renowned publishing industry professor, author and lecturer, and produced in conjunction with the 29th Annual Graphics of the Americas Conference; TrendVision is the only conference dedicated to evaluating and planning for the future. At this groundbreaking event developed exclusively for graphic communications professionals, this interactive conference will digest and analyze emerging and converging business and technology trends in the graphics industry.     TrendVision brings together major research professionals and analysts who will examine the future role of the graphic communications industry in the information and communications marketplace.   At this forward-thinking strategic conference, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about upcoming trends and be in a better position to plan for their businesses’ futures.   TrendVision is scheduled to take place in Miami Beach, Florida, January 22 and 23, 2004 in conjunction with the Graphics of the Americas Exposition. Graphics of the Americas 2004 takes place January 23, 24, and 25 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
