North Canton – 20th November 2003:  GEI continues to successfully sell its niche publishing solutions across the globe.  In the third quarter this year the company reports sales in the United States, Latin America, South Africa and Japan with customers including newspapers, magazine publishers, repro shops and large commercial printing operations. In the United States newspaper customers include the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Miami Herald, San José Mercury News, Hartford Courant and Canton Repository purchasing workflow, proofing printers and/or ink pre-setting solutions. “We continue to make good progress,” says GEI president Bob Behringer. “GEI’s focus on customer service, and for providing niche productive and robust solutions has helped us throughout the usually quieter summer months. I'm also delighted that the excellent reputation of our company and its products has recently earned us 'vendor of choice' status at two major US newspaper groups for our Internet Proofing System." Outside North America, GEI sells its products through partners.  Its international sales are continuing to grow and the company reports new business from partners Asahi Systems Information, Japan; Aleph Graphic, Inc., Latin America, and First Graphics, South Africa.
