B&B Pumps More Life Into Digital Printing With New Indigo Press

Press release from the issuing company

B&B, a print and direct communications company, today announces their purchase of the HP Indigo 7600 7-color Digital Press. After an extensive search for a digital press that would increase productivity and product offerings, B&B chose a top of the class member of the HP Indigo family. The HP Indigo 7600 replaces B&B’s HP Indigo 5000 to keep up with the growing demands of their customer’s needs.

“The power and speed of the machine are impeccable, but it’s the unique applications that rouse our creative attention,” says President Michael Bland. “We imagine all the capabilities of the press, processes that extend further than we’ve ever seen.  Digital printing is the present and the future, and we want to offer our customers a product that surpasses their expectations of what a digital press is capable of.”

The HP Indigo 7600 offers many unique applications, such as white ink, 7 color stations with a huge Pantone Match System (PMS), textured and raised effects, and UV Red Ink for anti-counterfeiting features. The output will be unparallel in color and touch as the various applications mix with the vast collection of substrates.

“When we saw the press run at DSCOOP, we were absolutely blown away. The color and quality rivals that of traditional offset, plus the added benefits of on-demand, shorter runs, and personalized printing. Our team is thrilled to explore all the possibilities that this press brings to the table, and we can’t wait to share this excitement with our customers.”
