Bang Printing Acquires Victor Graphics (Updated)

Update issued by Bang Printing: 

To clarify the earlier press release, Bang Printing has purchased  certain intangible assets, goodwill and customer relationships of Victor Graphics, along with one press. All other printing equipment and other hard assets will be sold by public auction on January 8th by Thomas Industries, industrial auctioneers, on behalf of Victor Graphics. Brainerd, MN – Bang Printing and its subsidiaries, a provider of accountable print performance solutions and other value-added services for catalogs, books, publications and educational printed products, announced today they have entered into an agreement to buy substantially all of the assets associated with Victor Graphics of Baltimore, Maryland.  

This sale will allow Bang Printing and Victor Graphics to combine their existing capabilities and provide customers with a more diversified suite of products and services.  All manufacturing will be done out of Bang Printing’s current facilities in Minnesota, California and Ohio (Hess Print Solutions).  Victor Graphics will retain a sales office in Baltimore, Maryland, headed by founder & owner, Tom Hicks. Victor Graphics is a family owned, 30-year old, Baltimore based book manufacturer which serves a diverse, nationally based group of publishers.

Victor did right with the sale given the management. They have the equipment to produce very good book work, if people of the planet haven't totally kIndled that idea. I hope the new owner gets their Bang for their buck.
