Merrill Corporation Leverages Ricoh Solutions to Deliver Accurate, Highly-Regulated, Confidential Documents in Full Color, with Full Integrity

Press release from the issuing company

Ricoh’s InfoPrint 5000 enables the printing of highly complex and confidential color documents for Merrill’s health insurance and financial services customers

MALVERN, PA. -  Ricoh Americas Corporation (Ricoh) today announced that Merrill Corporation, a leading provider of outsourced solutions for complex business communication and information management, has deployed the market-leading InfoPrint 5000 continuous feed color print platform.  Merrill will use the system to print highly-regulated and compliance-driven communications for their customers in the financial services, health insurance and other corporate markets.

Customers trust that the Merrill team will deliver confidential, critical communications accurately to their clients, meeting important regulatory requirements and deadlines.  With the installation of the InfoPrint 5000, Merrill has increased its capabilities and its capacity, bringing highly complex and confidential documents in full, variable data color to customers faster and more effectively.

“Our customers demand high quality, color documents for their clients.  A financial portfolio update or healthcare information covered by HIPAA cannot be compromised.  Our customers won’t allow such compromises nor will their clients, so we integrated the InfoPrint 5000 into our operations to ensure such documents are delivered accurately and on time – no misses allowed,” said Patrick Foley, SVP Operations, Merrill.  “With the InfoPrint 5000, our team now has the ability to produce high color, full quality, complex, regulated confidential communications more effectively and efficiently.”

The InfoPrint 5000 helps Merrill to print more, print faster and print more accurately.  Ultimately, the platform helps their clients rest assured that they will meet their regulatory deadlines and that the critical information that needs to be communicated is delivered accurately, each and every time.

“Merrill Corporation is a pioneer in digital color and has been for decades.  Collaborating with them to help meet their customer needs is a core focus of the team here at Ricoh.  Our approach is not to sell a printer, but instead to help build a stronger, more effective business,” said Andre Brazeau, vice president of production print solutions, Ricoh.  “The implementation of the InfoPrint 5000, along with RICOH ProcessDirector workflow solution, illustrates Merrill’s dedication to their customers with the enablement of high color, full quality, complex, regulated confidential communications, all designed to meet and exceed the expectations of their customers’ clients.
