adphos Digital Printing showcases its engineering & inkjet integration skills alongside its unique drying technology

Press release from the issuing company

Bruckmuehl - On February 12th, 2014 adphos, a leader in thermal drying applications for high performance drying, is holding an exclusive (invitation only) event at the premises of leading print and direct marketing service providers within the UK.

During this one day event, adphos will introduce the skills and technology that are their core strengths, and showcase them utilising the production plants of their partners in this event. The visitors will see adphos’s patented drying adphosNIR®-technology in operation, drying inkjet inks onto a variety of stocks (coated and uncoated) at full production speeds on a variety of equipment including web and sheetfed printing presses, and flat-sheet (B1) and web finishing lines.

They will also be introduced to adphos’s integration engineering skills in the form of the adphos Modular Tower and Carriage, the MTC, which is used to integrate inkjet heads from a wide range of manufacturers into printing presses and finishing lines. With nearly 20 years’ experience in inkjet integration, the adphos team have produced a truly adaptable product in the MTC. A modular product, the MTC is a series of independent modules which the customer assesses on the basis of his/her needs and production requirements, drawing together the components that are needed for their production thus creating their own bespoke solution, which then matches both their functional requirements and budget. The MTC will be seen on presses from various manufacturers.

The event is targeted at printing houses without inkjet, those with inkjet skills already in-house and those who wish to enhance or expand their inkjet installations. It is also focussed on those whose production is inhibited by inefficient drying of liquids such as glue, ink, etc. Seeing an efficient modern print production unit is always interesting, to see & meet two in one day along with innovative and effective technology from adphos is very exciting.
