MEI Unveils Enterprise-level Planning and Management System

Press release from the issuing company

Integrated Media Planner streamlines project lifecycles across multiple channels

Jenkintown, PA -? Managing Editor Inc.? (MEI) today announced the addition of Hipzone's Integrated Media Planner (IMP) to its lineup of workflow solutions. IMP brings users together into a centralized system for ideation, assignments, budgeting, and rights. From single story pitches to full campaigns, managers can assign work and track project status using the IMP Calendar view, transforming ideas into deliverables across print, Web, tablet, mobile, social media and more. Additionally, IMP can be integrated with production systems, like vjoon K4? Cross-Media Publishing Platform, so that a project's lifecycle can be managed all the way to final output.

IMP collaboratively tracks the progression of multi-channel projects across an organization and presents information at a glance through its browser-based dashboard. IMP extends project management capabilities even further with enterprise reports for top-down views into billing and resource management. IMP tracks budgets, effort, contracts and rights, allowing managers and executives to see vital business data whenever they need it.

"As organizations grow, they need to create content for more channels more efficiently. What was once a manageable process of innovation and execution becomes unwieldy and fragmented," said Mark Leister, MEI's senior vice president of business development. "IMP breaks this pattern by tracking the lifecycle of projects, from the initial spark of an idea to the delivery of final content to the multitude of platforms."

IMP pricing and availability will be announced in Q1 of 2014.
