MEI Expands European Presence with Portico Reseller

Technology and media solutions provider Topix adds MEI Portico to digital publishing portfolio

Jenkintown, PA - ? Managing Editor Inc. (MEI) the world's leading reseller of Adobe® Digital Publishing Suite? and developer of MEI Portico?, today announced that it has signed Topix AG as a Portico reseller in Europe. Topix is a leading IT and media solutions provider based in Switzerland and now will distribute Portico as a premier reseller in the European region.

Founded in 1989 and based in St. Gallen, Switzerland, Topix offers workflow and publishing solutions to companies in Switzerland and neighboring countries. The addition of Portico to its solution suite expands the company's growing portfolio of Adobe DPS-related products and services.

MEI and Topix recently worked together with DOCMINE Productions to produce the tablet videobook "Die Schweizer," for SRG, the Swiss radio and television company. The app shows historical milestones of Switzerland in a new dimension and supports the widely discussed project of SRG on mobile devices.

Built with Adobe DPS and Portico, the solution links sponsor websites, special entitlement mechanisms and rich content into a unique user experience. DOCMINE Productions, the first Portico customer in Switzerland, quickly went from app development and production to releasing a live app to the iTunes App Store in just a matter of weeks.
