Konica Minolta Grows Its Solution Portfolio with NSi Mobile and Worldox Connector

Press release from the issuing company

New Software Solutions Allow Customers to Meet the Needs of a Mobile Workforce by Improving Electronic Document Sharing

Ramsey, N.J. – Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. today introduced two new software solutions to its EnvisionIT portfolio as well as a strategic partnership with Precision Discovery, Inc. The new software solutions include NSi™ Mobile™, a productivity app for organizations in need of extending business processes to their mobile workforces, as well as Dispatcher Phoenix Worldox® Connector, an app to scan and store documents directly into a Worldox document management system.

NSi Mobile with Secure Mobile Print

NSi Mobile integrates both capture and print capabilities enabling mobile workers to deliver accurate information into their business process, regardless if the downstream destination is a line of business application or a print device. With NSi Mobile, remote workers can securely send documents, photographs, and other electronic files to their accounting, healthcare, ERP or any number of other business applications. NSi Mobile’s secure print capabilities also give customers the flexibility to submit a print job from their smartphone or tablet into a virtual print queue. Jobs can be submitted from outside or inside the firewall on both iOS and Android devices and do not rely upon any third-party hosted servers. Instead, NSi Mobile ensures a secure and direct connection between each device and the virtual print queue, under corporate IT’s complete control.  NSi Mobile with its secure print capabilities offers customers a secure and convenient means to print sensitive documents "on-demand" to a networked bizhub printer.

Worldox Connector

The Worldox Connector allows users to easily scan, index, process and store documents directly into a Worldox repository for organizing and sharing electronic documents. The easy-to-use connector is directly available from the Konica Minolta bizhub MFP control panel and can also be included in an automated workflow for a “hands-free” solution. Ideal for law firms and financial services companies, Worldox is part of Konica Minolta EnvisionIT Legal solution offering and is sold through the company’s All Covered IT Services division.

Precision Discovery

The strategic partnership with Precision Discovery is a service delivered by All Covered that helps Konica Minolta customers take advantage of electronic discovery, computer forensics and cutting-edge software solutions that are designed to help reduce costs and increase attorney review efficiencies.

“We are excited to offer customers access to solutions such as NSi Mobile that can help them meet the demands of a growing mobile workforce as well as improve document sharing,” says Sam Errigo, Senior Vice President, Business Intelligence Services, Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. “We are also proud to continue expanding our legal vertical solutions with Worldox Connector and Precision Discovery options. Our customers can count on Konica Minolta to provide them with the right solutions to optimize their business.”
