Kelmscott Communications Integrates and Expands Northwest Sales Team

Press release from the issuing company

(San Francisco, CA November 17, 2003) - San Francisco-based Kelmscott Communications LLC announces the merging of sales organizations for CDS Publications in Medford, OR, and Printing Control Graphics in Seattle, WA. "CDS and Printing Control have always worked closely," explains Steven A. Brown, Executive Vice President. "By formally integrating the capabilities of the companies, we can now provide customers with an expanded array of PrintCentric solutions not previously available. It just makes sense to service our customers with one sales force, one management team, and a greatly expanded set of solutions." "Basic to the integration was Kelmscott's significant investments to upgrade and integrate operations and prepress systems across both facilities," said Jim McBride, CEO of Kelmscott. "With these investments and the dedication of the team led by Steve Brown, we are in a unique position to meet expanding customer needs in the Pacific Northwest." Sales and management staff has also been added to accommodate recent business expansion. Rich Lancaster joins the Northwest sales team as Vice President of Business Development and Sales. Lancaster was formerly CEO of Seattle-based, venture-backed e-commerce company, CobWeb, Inc., which was sold to Unisoft in 2002. Prior to CobWeb, Lancaster participated in the startup of Nextel Communications as Director of Marketing. Rich has a 20-year history in sales, marketing and management, including assignments in Australia and England.
