Epson Supports Philippine Typhoon Relief Efforts

Press release from the issuing company

MANILA, Philippines - On November 8, Typhoon Haiyan struck central areas of the Philippines, including the islands of Leyte and Samar in the Visayas region. The full extent of the damage is still unclear. Epson wishes to extend its sympathy to the families of those who lost their lives, and hopes for the speedy recovery of the areas damaged by the disaster.

Epson Precision (Philippines) Inc., Epson Philippines Corporation and Seiko Epson Corporation have today donated Php 2 million (approx. US$46,000) to assist the disaster relief efforts. The money was donated through Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), a local NPO.

Epson will consider extending further support when the full effects of the typhoon are known.
