Roland DG appoints Sprint Solutions as authorised dealer for Scotland

Tuesday, November 12, 2013

Press release from the issuing company

Roland DG has announced today the appointment of Sprint Solutions (Scotland) Ltd to its growing family of Roland Authorised Dealers in the UK. Based in Kirkintilloch, the company will be responsible for selling Roland’s extensive range of print & cut and print machines across Scotland.

Says Rob Goleniowski, Business Manager – Signs & Graphics, Roland DG: “We are very pleased to be welcoming Sprint Solutions into the Roland DG dealer family. Throughout the discussions prior to the appointment, the whole team at Sprint Solutions consistently demonstrated the level of professionalism and enthusiasm we expect from ourselves and our dealers. The team has extensive experience in the industry and strong regional knowledge, which we believe will really help Roland to further build its profile and reputation in Scotland.”

Sprint Solutions (Scotland) Ltd was established in 2011 by Neil Mellis and Andrew Watson to serve the print and graphics industry in the north of Scotland.  In line with its appointment as a Roland DG Authorised Dealer, the company is launching a new wide format and graphical consumables division called Sprint Direct, which will be headed up by Angela McInally.

Sprint Direct will operate out of the parent company’s new offices and showroom at Kirkintilloch, where it will be able to offer a full range of Roland’s wide format machines as well as demonstration facilities.  All Roland machines sold by Sprint Direct will also be installed and serviced by a fully qualified Roland engineer, giving the customer total piece of mind.

Angela McInally Says: “I am looking forward to working closely with Roland to develop interest in, and sales of, their excellent wide format portfolio in Scotland. To this end,  we will be holding a two-day Roland DG open day on 19th and 20th November at our new showroom where we will be demonstrating a range of Roland’s high performance machines including the VersaSTUDIO BN-20 and VersaCAMM SP-540i and the latest VersaCAMM VS-540i. We believe this event will launch what we hope will be a long and fruitful partnership between Sprint and Roland DG.”
