Product of the Year Award Competition compares 102 entries in 21 categories

Fairfax, VA - Contra Vision North America, Inc. was recently honored with the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) Product of the Year award for Media for Digital Inkjet Vinyl Pressure Sensitive with Contra Vision® Sprint™ at this year's SGIA Expo in Orlando, Florida. The competition recognized the latest equipment and supplies currently on the market that are advancing the specialty imaging industry.

“I am very proud to receive this award,” said Roland Hill, President, Contra Vision North America, Inc. “As the innovators of see-thru graphics since 1985 it is pleasing to still be recognized as a market leader, having 27 inventions patented or patent-pending in this field and being the only licensed supplier of this type of printable adhesive, Applied Inside™ perforated window film.”

Fifty-five companies from around the world entered the competition, submitting 102 entries in 21 categories. Evaluated during the 2013 SGIA Expo (Orlando, October 23-25), this year’s submissions represented some of the industry’s most innovative digital products.

“The Product of the Year Award Competition highlights the best technologies and consumables from the specialty imaging community,” said Jeff Burton, SGIA’s Digital Printing Analyst. “Entries were so good that judging category winners was a real challenge.”
