Vio Announces the Development of AdsML-Compliant Job Tickets

Press release from the issuing company

November 14, 2003 -- Vio Worldwide has announced it is building AdsML-compliant job tickets into its Digital Workflow Suite application following the launch for public consultation of AdsML 1.0 in October 2003 - a comprehensive, international standard for the digital exchange of advertising information. Says David Jones, General Manager and CTO, Vio Worldwide: "As a founding member of the AdsML Consortium, Vio Worldwide has been instrumental, along with other members, in developing AdsML as a cross-media end-to-end automated tool for the standardized management of the advertising process. This compliments our standards work for the print industry where we have focused on using JDF, and driving this standard forward in our capacity as chair of the asset transfer committee of CIP4. "We believe AdsML will shorten advertising deadlines and time-to-market, saving time and money, reducing errors, and improving communication throughout the supply chain. For these reasons, we are now building AdsML -compliant job tickets into our Digital Workflow Suite to ensure Vio customers--now and in the future--can take advantage of what will be an advertising industry automation standard. AdsML-compliant companies can now use Vio solutions within their information transfer strategy."
