Duplo Corporation Unveils Duetto To Us Market

Press release from the issuing company

Duplo Corporation’s most recent digital print finishing offering – the Duetto - designed for both offset and digital requirements made its first US appearance at Xplor in Florida last month. A revolutionary product, the Duetto which comprises two DC-10/60 collators and DSF-2000 dynamic sheet feeder, is the first product of its kind to offer a dual-line print finishing solution incorporating colour content and variable data. Dominic Quennell, vice president of marketing at Duplo Corporation comments, “Xplor was the ideal platform in which to unveil the Duetto to the US market. More and more digital printers are recognising the importance of digital print finishing and in turn, more offset printers are reaping the benefits of offering a combined offset/digital solution – the Duetto operates seamlessly in both printing environments.” “The show itself was positive for Duplo. We not only received a vast amount of interest relating to our new dual-line machine, but in addition we took many enquiries about the DSF-2000 dynamic sheet feeder, which while it forms part of the Duetto system, is an effective digital print finishing system in its own right.” Also shown at Xplor was a range of Duplo Corporation’s modular print finishing products, these included: DF-915 and DF-920 folders, a DB-200 binder, a DSF-2000 dynamic sheetfeeder operating alongside a DBM-120 bookletmaker showing digital booklet production and a DBM-4000 bookletmaker linked to a Müller Martini device that was set up to produce fan folded packs. Dominic concludes, “Duplo is dedicated to ensuring it provides modular print finishing solutions to both the offset and digital markets. The Duetto and our other recently launched bookletmaking and collating solution - the System 5000 - are products which support both printing requirements.”
