Wyndeham Group renews major magazine printing contract with longest standing client Haymarket Media Group

Press release from the issuing company

Wyndeham Group has renewed a major magazine printing contract with its longest standing client, Haymarket Media Group. The deal extends the current contract to December 2017 and means the two companies will have worked together for 50 years.

Haymarket’s portfolio, which includes AutocarFourFourTwo, What Car? and Stuff, is printed at all of Wyndeham’s web offset plants with the majority of the titles being produced by Wyndeham Heron.

In addition to the contract renewal, Wyndeham has also been awarded a new monthly title from Haymarket Network which is published on behalf of Sports Direct and will be produced at Wyndeham Heron.

Gary Charlton, Head of Production at Haymarket Media Group, commented: “We are very pleased to extend our contract with Wyndeham Group. The extension is in recognition of the excellent service that the Wyndeham sites give to our portfolio of titles and in recognition of the work that Wyndeham did in assisting us with the delivery of the Olympics programmes project. We also feel that it is right to secure a strategic supply chain partner.”

Paul Utting, Chief Executive Officer at Wyndeham Group, added: “Haymarket has again demonstrated its on-going support in our ability to deliver high quality products. Our success producing the vast proportion of the 2012 Olympic materials endorsed our high levels of service on the regular portfolio. We have been printing for Haymarket for 50 years which is testament to the strong working relationship and deep understanding our businesses have cultivated over that time.”
