Domtar to Issue $350 Million of Notes, Repay Debt

MONTREAL, Nov. 13 - Domtar announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement with a group of underwriters for the sale of an aggregate principal amount of US$350 million of its 5.375% Notes due 2013 in the United States in a public offering. The group of underwriters is led by JP Morgan Securities Inc. as the sole bookrunner. The net proceeds from the sale of the Notes will be used to repay outstanding indebtedness under Domtar's bank term loan.
