Lubrizol to Exhibit Its Digital Print Solutions at 2013 SGIA

Press release from the issuing company

The Lubrizol Corporation will showcase its technology enabling digital printing solutions at the international 2013 SGIA Expo scheduled for October 23-25 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Lubrizol will present innovations for ink receptive coatings and digital inks in booth 669.

The yearly SGIA (Specialty Graphic Imaging Association) Expo draws industry professionals from around the globe and provides them with the information they require to stay up to date with product and technology advances. SGIA members create a broad variety of graphics for point-of-purchase displays, signs, banners, advertisements and other media formats as well as garments, containers, vehicles, product identification materials and compact discs.

Lubrizol combines decades of expertise in pigment dispersion and polymer technology with in-depth knowledge of formulation to deliver digital print solutions that are customized to meet a variety of high-performance demands on a wide range of surfaces including film, textiles and paper. Show attendees are invited to the booth to learn about Lubrizol's Solsperse hyperdispersants and PrintRite portfolio of ink-receptive coatings.

"We are looking forward to this very important event," said Andrew Grantham, global marketing manager for Lubrizol Performance Coatings. "SGIA is our audience; its members are experts in the industry, and Lubrizol has coating and ink solutions for all the diverse digital print market segments that will be represented in Orlando. We are prepared to demonstrate our products' genuinely competitive advantages, and we know Expo attendees will appreciate our technical expertise and ability to customize to their unique needs."

Solsperse hyperdispersants improve the performance of digital ink in graphic arts applications. These advanced hyperdispersants can deliver stable, consistent, narrow particle-sized distribution, improved ink filtration performance and superior ink viscosity control for the formulation of low-viscosity, UV-cured and solvent-based inkjet inks.

The versatile PrintRite brand with its range of component polymers and ready-to-use formulations offers a comprehensive selection of high-performance, ink-receptive coatings for a spectrum of digital print media applications. PrintRite coatings provide excellent clarity, rapid ink dry time, high color density, flame resistance and exceptional adhesion and scratch resistance. A new range of PrintRite grades specifically developed for polyolefin films will be presented.

SGIA Expo visitors are invited to the Lubrizol booth, where representatives will be available to discuss Solsperse, PrintRite and other Lubrizol digital print solutions.
