UNIMAC Graphics first to buy new CPM precision sheeter from Colter & Peterson

Press release from the issuing company

Paterson, NJ – Colter & Peterson announced today that UNIMAC Graphics of Carlstadt, New Jersey has purchased the first CPM 67” dual rotary knife precision sheeter that was introduced last month at Print ’13. Installation is expected to take place in February 2014.

Highly productive and cost efficient, the 67” precision sheeter cuts up to 1000 feet per minute and is accurate within one-tenth of an inch. UNIMAC Graphics is a diversified graphics communications company with clients in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.  They provide a wide range of cross media marketing solutions including, but not limited to, digital media, packaging, web/sheetfed for both offset and digital printing, and web inkjet printing.

“We were very impressed with the precision and cleanliness of the cutting and slitting,” said Steve Rickett, President of UNIMAC Graphics.  “We currently are using three older sheeting machines and expect the CPM unit to replace them, so the projected cost savings also factored into our decision to buy it.”

The dual rotary knife precision sheeter has a modular design and features the latest technology using Siemens electronics. It offers the capacity to develop 57” tall skids with up to 80” long sheets and slitter flexibility.
