Roel-Jan Mouw, new CEO of WoodWing Software: “It’s an honor for me to lead WoodWing, one of the most innovative software companies in the industry”

WoodWing Software announced today that it has appointed Roel-Jan Mouw, 41, as Chief Executive Officer effective Oct. 1, 2013. The appointment of Mouw, an international senior executive with solid business acumen and proven track record within the technology and software industry, signals a strong move into the next phase for WoodWing Software.

“With digital assets growing at staggering rates and consumerization of IT through connected devices all around us, WoodWing is well-positioned to ensure customer success by delivering leading software,” Mouw said. “It’s an honor for me to lead WoodWing, one of the most innovative software companies in the industry, and I look forward to working with WoodWing’s talented team, formidable customers and excellent partners around the globe.”

Most recently, Mouw was Director Partner Marketing EMEA at EMC, responsible for its successful partner strategy. He has a solid international career developing software companies in a variety of markets, including publishing. Prior to his role at EMC, he worked for Adobe, Successfactors (an SAP company), BSA and text100.

After more than six years as CEO of WoodWing Software, Co-Founder Hans Janssen will move into a new role as CEO of WoodWing Ventures, focusing on teaming up with promising startups like the recent investment in SOWISO.
