Strong interest in Autobond's in-line digital inkjet spot UV at PRINT '13

Press release from the issuing company

British laminator and spot UV manufacturer Autobond is privileged to have received a six-year high in visitors for a North American exhibition, following five busy days at PRINT '13 in Chicago, USA, reflecting a continent-wide positive and growing post-press market.

Oran Gilmore, VP of Autobond Inc, says that he is very optimistic about growth in North and South America: "There was very strong interest in the machinery that we had running on the booth at PRINT 13. We had many more visitors to the stand than we had at Print '09 or previous Graph Expo exhibitions. Equally impressive was the range of countries the visitors came from; not only the Unites States and Canada, but also Mexico, Guatemala, Brazil, Peru and even as far away as Turkey and India. Many of them were eager to see our inkjet spot UV technology in action. Most encouraging though, were the numerous existing customers who have recently invested in Autobond laminating machinery returning to buy Autobond inkjet spot UV machinery to run-line."

Autobond's most popular laminator, the 30" x 41" Mini 76 TH, was continuously demonstrated running in-line with digital inkjet spot UV and a high-speed flying knife cross cutter.

Headquartered in Derbyshire, England, the family-run business also enjoys a bit of humor during exhibitions. PRINT '13 saw a 'lookalike' of former US President Ronald Reagan receiving a tour of the booth from Gilmore and his father, John Gilmore, President of Autobond Inc.
