Press release from the issuing company

Strategic enhancements give customers more tools for success

Melville, NY – Canon Solutions America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., today announced a series of exciting new enhancements to its PressGo! website.

Introduced in 2010, PressGo! is the first customer-designed business development program in the digital print industry. Available exclusively to Canon Solutions America production print customers, the site offers top-notch industry data, vertical market briefs, white papers, and case studies, as well as a successful webinar series that has been at the heart of the PressGo! program.

Canon Solutions America recently strengthened the PressGo! offering with the addition of a blog, advanced search feature and new content to help its customers compete in today’s multi-channel reality. Marketing content additions include how-to guides on subjects like social media and mobile, along with presentations and customizable templates they can use as part of their own or customers’ communication strategy.

“Canon Solutions America has done a tremendous job building out this marketing arm of their business to help us grow our business,” said Lisa Arsenault, President of McArdle, a marketing service provider based in the Washington-Baltimore region. “We love PressGo!”

Easily Searchable Content
With so many resources available on mypressgo.com, a new, more powerful search tool was added to help site visitors quickly navigate to the specific information they need. Now, searches can be refined by market segment, content category, or vertical industry. The vast archive of PressGo! webinars can be searched by keyword or date.

The ability to access the tools needed to compete has become as important as the equipment itself for Walter Kohn, president of Columbia, S.C. based Spectra Integration. "Our relationship with Canon Solutions America is less about document printing and more about their ability to help us with the tools we need to grow our business and stay nimble in a changing market."

“Business is moving at the speed of light,” said Jodie MacLellan Marketing Manager, Production Print Solutions division of Canon Solutions America. “We are committed to partnering with our customers and giving them the resources they need to be successful.”

A Forum for Sharing Ideas
One of the most exciting site enhancements is the PressGo! blog, which serves as a forum for sharing knowledge, insights and opinions. Contributors to the blog include industry analysts, marketing executives and product experts who provide tips and start discussions around what PressGo! members can do to increase productivity, reduce costs, expand capabilities, and better market their products and services.

“This blog presents a wonderful opportunity for the digital print community to share information, ideas and strategies to grow their businesses,” said Francis McMahon, Vice President, Marketing, Production Print Solutions division of Canon Solutions America. “In an increasingly digital world, it’s important for print and marketing service providers to become part of the conversation around where our industry is headed.”

As the industry continues to evolve, the PressGo! site is providing its members with the resources – and sales tools – they  need to meet new market demands. Today, PressGo! members and their sales organizations have access to Training & Technology tools, including sales training modules, presentations, and customized offerings to support them in selling digital and inkjet solutions.
