DirectSmile to support state-of-the-art Inbound Marketing & PDF/VT

Monday, September 09, 2013

Press release from the issuing company

Berlin/Chicago/Cologne - DirectSmile today announced that its easy-to-use marketing automation software will feature full integration with a variety of input media, as well as a variety of output media, and reliable rendering in workflows powered by the Adobe® PDF Print Engine. This month the solution will be showcased in Chicago at Print13 and in Cologne at dmexco 2013.

In September at Print13 and at dmexco 2013, DirectSmile will demonstrate how easy it is to structure marketing automation on top of any existing CRM. This solution is ideal for agencies, printers, designers and corporates. On top of that, the robust PDF/VT technology support allows customers to merge any creative design with any database in a productive way for preview and print.

DirectSmile provides all-in-one software for marketing automation. It allows users to create, personalize and automate marketing across web, e-mail, mobile, social and print media. It doesn't require any programming skills, and it integrates with existing CRM systems.

DirectSmile has been an Adobe Solutions partner for many years. The DirectSmile software platform is among the first that features a seamless integration of lead generation, lead nurturing and print. This integration will benefit customers who are already using DirectSmile software, or considering entering the market of cross media marketing.

Harry Raaphorst, CEO of DirectSmile says: “To demonstrate the robustness and capacity of our software we decided to rebuild our website www.directsmile.com as a marketing automation tool, entirely based on the new release of our software. From the first day, this has proven the value of DirectSmile as a bi-directional marketing tool, being fully integrated into our CRM. We believe that our new support for export of PDF/VT formats will enable our customers to gain production efficiencies, especially when used in conjunction with the Adobe PDF Print Engine.”

”DirectSmile’s support for PDF/VT, the emerging ISO standard for the exchange of personalized print jobs, will help bring all the well-known benefits of PDF workflow to the world of personalized print production,” says Mark Lewiecki, Senior Product Manager at Adobe. “We welcome this development, which will benefit DirectSmile customers, and accelerate the momentum behind PDF/VT.”
