EDSF (Electronic Document Scholarship Foundation), the international, non-profit scholarship organization dedicated to students in document management and communications studies, and IPN (IPN (International Printers’ Network) held their inaugural charity event at IPN’s 20 year celebration during the June 9, 2013, IPN Global Conference. The funds raised at the event will be used to establish International IPN Legacy scholarships.

“There is such a critical need for educational financial support that IPN is delighted to help keep the dreams of students large and their financial worries small”, said Roger P. Gimbel, EDP, IPN Board member and former Chairman.  The funds will be presented to EDSF at Print 13 during their annual Scholarship Night event on September 10th, 2013.  

As part of the partnership, EDSF will administer the scholarships on behalf of IPN.  This includes assisting with scholarship selection criteria; providing information about the   scholarships to qualified colleges or universities; marketing the award within the industry; promoting the scholarship to students and universities; managing the application process; and selecting the scholarship award recipients through an Executive selection committee.  Here is the best part, because of generous contributions from EDSF’s Board of Directors; all administrative expenses are covered allowing 100% of IPN’s donations to go directly to students.
