Greenville, South Carolina - At Print 2013, being held in Chicago, Illinois, Colorware and MeasureColor (STAND # 4238) will be exhibiting the latest release of their industry-leading Graphic Arts color control software. This latest release of their product incorporates many capabilities never before offered to the Industry.
Using the new “IMAGE” module, brand owners will for the first time be able to specify exactly where within a printed design the color should be measured. It has long been known that one of the most significant areas of error introduction in color measurement of graphic arts products, is knowing exactly where to take the measurement. From now on brand owners will be able to import a sample of the package design and identify precisely those critical inspection points. “IMAGE” will incorporate a simple job set up by the quality manager and a simple operational workflow for the pressman.
Dan Uress, CTO MeasureColor states...“IMAGE allows for the comparison of samples across sheets even with multiple panels of work. In addition, the software allows for the measurement of spot colors, process builds, density and dot values in the designated areas. Multiple types of job reports, including specific location accuracy and job conformance statistics are available”.
In addition to the new IMAGE capabilities, this new release has other substantial new capabilities. These include support for the X-Rite eXact spectrodensitometer, Auto SVF import for use with Komori PDCS II, the revolutionary new “CHROMATRACK” capability for fast and accurate predictive color correction, a new Flexo data presentation and the direct integration of ColorMetrix’s Verified Color standards management system.
