Software Boot Camp for Printers Transforms Printers into Confident Software Decision Makers

Press release from the issuing company

Inaugural Software Boot Camp starts Oct 14, 2013, now recruiting for the initial cohort of printers

San Francisco, CA USA – Web2Print Experts, Inc., announces the launch of the Software Boot Camp for Printers, an intensive 6-week online program for printers providing coaching and mentoring to optimize their software investments. The first Boot Camp starts Monday, October 14, 2013. The Boot Camp instructors include the Web2Print Experts team, a cross-functional group that has current expertise in strategy, sales and marketing, product management, implementation, user adoption, and software development.

Unlike theoretical training programs, the Boot Camp is 100% based in real-business scenarios; your current software challenges, led by instructors who are actively working on print software projects themselves. Web2Print Experts differentiates between training and learning – anyone can train, the Boot Camp intends to create an environment that maximizes learning by giving you access to a cross-functional team of software experts who understand the print business.

“Printers contact us every day seeking independent advice about their software challenges, we have witnessed too much waste and way too much shelfware (software that is never fully implemented), to sit still any longer. The Boot Camp is our solution to reversing the trend of underutilized or completely wasted software investments,” says Jennifer Matt, founder and president of Web2Print Experts.

An integral part of the Boot Camp is access to the Barracks, a safe, sales-free, bias-free environment for printers to discuss their challenges with independent software experts from Web2Print Experts. Collaboration is critical to effectively solving our shared challenges. “Software expertise is in high demand in virtually every vertical market, printers are challenged to compete for skilled software resources, we can use the Boot Camp platform to share our expertise with lots of printers at once,” says Jeff Dockman, software architect at Web2Print Experts.

The Boot Camp is a virtual event, taking place online in the community forum “The Barracks” and via online group instruction and recruit assignments. To learn more check out the week-by-week schedule at www.web2printexperts.com/bootcamp/.

Registration for Software Boot Camp for Printers is now open (this event is for printers only). All instruction and communication will be conducted in English. Be a part of the initial cohort of printers.

Web2Print Experts is donating a portion of the Boot Camp registration fees to our campaign on Charity Water called print4water. Clean water for all isn’t just a phenomenal cause, the Charity: Water organization is an example on how to tell your story and use modern marketing channels to amplify the message. Web2Print Experts is looking for the print industry to match our efforts and contribute to this important cause.

Web2Print Experts believes the Boot Camp is good for printers and will also help print software technology vendors; because a better prepared printer buys more software and utilizes it more effectively. Print software vendors can partner with Web2Print Experts to subsidize the costs of Boot Camp for their customers and prospects. Please contact Jennifer Matt, [email protected] for more information.
