Press release from the issuing company

GMC Software Technology (GMC), the award-winning leader in Customer Communications Management (CCM) and output management, announces that Scott Draeger has joined the company in the role of customer communication strategist. Draeger will serve as the North American representative of the company’s product management team. He reports to Didier Rouillard, vice president of product management for GMC.

Draeger’s career in customer communications spans more than 15 years with experience in software, hardware and service provider enterprises. Prior to joining GMC, he served as manager of product strategy and Asia Pacific customer communication strategist for HP Exstream. At GMC, Draeger will work closely with leading customers, analysts and experts in the financial services and insurance sectors to ensure that the company’s award-winning solutions are deployed with the highest efficiency.

“As part of our plan to hire the best talent possible, we are pleased Scott is joining GMC,” said Rouillard. “He is a respected thought leader in the customer communication industry and brings a wealth of experiences and skills that will only support GMC’s growing momentum in the financial services and insurance markets.”

“As a product management professional, I spend much of my time evaluating competitive technology. I was attracted to GMC because of its industry-changing innovations with the mobile and social aspects of customer communication,” said Draeger. “I look forward to being part of GMC's goal to develop solutions that support the financial services and insurance companies as they continue to find improvements in the ways they communicate with their customers.”

Draeger earned a BA in English Literature from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1997 and an International MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in 2007. Additionally, he earned an EDP (Electronic Document Professional) certification in 2003, and was part of the inaugural class of Master EDPs in 2010 and serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Xplor International.
