Heidelberg to Sponsor Color Variable Data Printing Series

KENNESAW, Ga., November 7, 2003 – Heidelberg USA, in its ongoing effort to support the education of variable data printing, is a sponsor of a seminar series called “Profiting with Color Variable Data Print.” The six-city traveling event – organized by SIG3 and INTERQUEST – kicks off in Boston on November 10 and concludes in Los Angeles on November 21. Several Heidelberg customers will deliver keynote speeches and participate in panel discussions throughout the series. These customers will primarily discuss how they have used digital printing and color variable imaging to enhance their work and run more successful and profitable businesses. “The Variable Data Printing market is expected to grow at a considerable rate over the next few years, so Heidelberg believes it is our job to help educate printers about the power of VDP and how to capture future profits,” said Richard Sand, director of Heidelberg’s Business Development Services. “That’s why the SIG3/INTERQUEST seminar series, which is education based and not vendor- or exhibit-based, is such an effective forum. It’s customers talking to other customers.” The seminar series will travel to Boston, New York, Washington, D.C., Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
